The BMC (Brand, Marketing and Communications) function has an important role to play in helping to achieve EY’s Vision 2020 ambition to become the leading global professional services organization. We work hand in hand with the business to take services and solutions to market; bring our purpose, building a better working world, to life for our people, clients and communities; engage our people and build a high performing culture; and to build the commercial value and emotional resonance of the EY brand.
BMC is led globally by Karen Hopkins. The function is made up of around 2,000 professionals, working across the Executive and Regions in the following areas of specialism: Brand; Marketing; PR/Media Relations & External Communications; Internal Communications &Employee Engagement; Corporate communications.
BMC also includes a number of teams who are responsible for content development, editorial, webcasts, events-staging, strategy, planning and operations. Through the collective power of BMC, and the other teams and specialists we work with, we aim to build a better working world by driving commercial value through distinctive marketing and communications that deliver measurable market impact.
You will be part of the BMC Growth Markets team focused on Asia-Pacific (including Japan), helping to execute on current assets (Winning Women, NextGen, 7 drivers of growth) and future assets (private clients and private equity). This will include a mix of marketing activities build brand reputation – publications, events, PR, digital and social media campaigns - to support these business targets.
Our BMC Growth Markets team’s objective is to help the business achieve its objectives for the middle market with a focus on strengthening our reputation, building relationships with CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs, and enable our people to pursue new revenue opportunities.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will play an important part in helping to shape and lead the activation of key Growth Markets priorities for the Asia-Pacific business. Your primarily responsibilities will be to:
Provide execution support to the APAC GM BMC marketing leader on the communications with the regional BMC GM leaders and stakeholders who develop and deploy the regional BMC plan and/ or, who execute GM BMC assets (programs/campaigns)
Support the execution of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Asia-Pacific program, an annual, year-long program with a cycle of regular activities. This includes the annual Asia-Pacific conference
Work with marketing colleagues across APAC to enable regional deployments of global thought leadership launches (eg. Capital Confidence Barometer, Middle market) and associated activities
Support the team in identifying EY’s best practice e-marketing tools (including CRM) and helping them utilize them
Create, configure and administer e-marketing campaigns under instruction from the APAC GM BMC marketing Leader
Help develop and coordinate content for intranet content updates, social media and digital campaigns in support of Area planned activity and go-to-market launches
Help develop and coordinate internal and external communications (where it relates to program activation)
- Provide event management support on major programs
Assist to track spend against budget and provide management information to the APAC GM BMC marketing Leader, including management of progress reports and update of activity calendars
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and maintain good working relationships across BMC and other functions
Support content development and manage production and approval processes (SCORE)
Skills and attributes for success
Be able to perform in a dynamic and high-pressure environment and can meet deadlines
Confident writer who understands how to engage an audience, write with purpose (inform/drive action/change etc), and complies with EY verbal identity
Is comfortable in a digital environment, embraces social media and can demonstrate knowhow
Be a strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently
- Adaptable and willing to roll up the sleeves on execution
Responsible, willing to learn and has a real passion for all things marketing and communications.
- Be able to work under own initiative in remote team environment
To qualify for the role you must have
- Meticulous attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills
Native English fluency, Chinese language skills an advantage.

Experience of working across brand, marketing and communications mix
