Job Description

Sales Directorisfor particulate monitors, filtration system control/automation solutions, HMI/SCADA and reporting software, and connected (IIoT) services. In this key role the Sales Director (SD) is a proven leader that understands technology, applications, and market financial opportunities and passionately applies that knowledge to customers, sales channels and internally for optimum results.

Responsibilities

? Work with Director of Business Development on targeted near and long-term plans to increase sales in the region

? Build on existing sales channel relationships, evaluate improvements, find and develop new channels

? Maintain and improve existing OEM accounts, find and develop new

? Find and develop key end-user accounts and coordinate the development of corporate accounts

? Provide expertise on regional EPA/OSHA regulations, effectively position offerings

? Support lead generation through promotional activities at the regional level such as seminars, trade shows and conferences and coordinate with AFS and Nederman corporate activities

? Direct sales, applications and 1st line technical support to customers from the office and onsite with drive and motivation to prioritize closing orders each day

? Utilize AFS product engineers to provide 2nd line support until dedicated regional 2nd line support is in place

? On-site leadership for product commissioning, customer training and trials/demonstrations

? Oversee regional customer satisfaction and ensure administration into central CRM ticket systems and follow through

? Interdivision role as a technical sales/applications specialist for AFS and Insight/IIoT solutions pre and post-sale

? High quality proposal preparation and effective organized use of the company’s CRM system

Requirements

? Must be a hands-on, proven sales director and sales/product engineer

? 10+ years of experience

? B.S. in Engineering or B.S. with relevant industry experience

? Experience with process instrumentation, PLCs, industrial communications, HMI/SCADA software required (IIoT experience or interest a plus)

? Knowledge of air pollution control, dust collection systems or EPA/OSHA regulations preferred

? Excellent written and technical verbal communications skills and high attention to detail

? Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Internet, CRM)

? An energetic, positive team player with ability and desire to multi-task and contribute across disciplines

? Ability and self motivation to learn quickly and independently

? Estimated 35% travel
