Are you looking for a working student opportunity? We’re looking to recruit a working student to join us by working upto 15 hours per week for an initial 6 month period at our Computational Pathology site in Munich.
Would you like to gain experience in supporting our development of image analysis applications which impacts management workflows around our deeplearning-based image analysis pipeline? What you’ll do
The Imaging AI and Analytics Team is looking for motivated working student to support our development of image analysis applications. This is a Python software suite that supports annotation and results management workflows around our deeplearning-based image analysis pipeline. Your role includes the following:
Independently discover, design and implement new algorithms optimized for speed and robustness
High-quality code development: Cover your code with automated tests
Professional software engineering including Continuous Integration and mutual code reviews
Work in a multi-disciplinary team with experts in biology, image analysis and software engineering
Essential for the role
Registered student in Computer Science or similar university degree
Strong skills in Python or another common programming language
Strong interest in high-quality Python development with automated tests and code reviews
Independent style of working
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
English language skills
Desirable for the role
Familarity with image analysis and deep-learning
Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar
Experience with pytest, Gitlab CI and openCV
