1. The professor designates the English of IIC classes and ensures the quality of teaching, with
the goal of meeting the requirements of national curriculum standards and international
diploma courses. Place high hopes on students and help them make continuous progress.
2. The professor designates English education and courses for IIC classes to contribute to IB
learning, and collaborates with Chinese teachers to ensure that students' works are displayed
and presented to high standards in the classroom and, where appropriate, throughout the
school.
3. Complete teaching plans to high standards and collaborate with Chinese teachers to ensure
that all file formats comply with school file standards.
4. Take on the responsibility of a homeroom teacher and help children develop good behavioral
habits. Collect information from other colleagues, draft and send weekly reports on time to
increase communication between parents and the school. Take care of students during Dim sum time and distribute snacks to students.
5. Communicate students' concerns with parents through WeChat, DingTalk, and ClassDojo. All WeChat and DingTalk messages should be replied within 24 hours.
6. Organize daily English training for students, and cultivate their English literacy according to
the plan.
7. Attend weekly meetings and temporary meetings on time.
8. Improve oneself through continuous learning (2022 National Curriculum Standards and IB
Learning) and be willing to try new ideas.
9. Protect the privacy of students, their families, and colleagues.
10. Fully participate in the employee assessment system, conducting two management lectures
and two colleague lectures per semester. Submit documents according to the requirements of IIC and the Student Affairs Department (the coordinator is responsible for collecting information).
11. If taking leave, please apply for approval from the IIC and Student Affairs Department and
notify the IIC Director via WeChat before 6 :30 am. Make medical appointments outside of
working hours as much as possible.
12. All foreign teachers should leverage their international educational resources and introduce
advanced educational concepts and teaching strategies.
13. Love school English work, possess excellent ideological, moral, and cultural cultivation. Caring for and cherishing students, and being a role model. Strive to research and master the
theories of English education.
14. Update teaching concepts, use English education and English textbooks and preparation
textbooks, formulate teaching plans, strive for excellence in teaching methods, and teach each
lesson well.
15. Evaluate students' grades and performance, establish records of student English archives
and various competition activities.
16. Love students, respect them, discipline and guide them, promptly educate them when problems are found, contact their homeroom teacher if necessary, strictly prohibit corporal punishment or disguised corporal punishment of students, and strictly prevent injury accidents from occurring.
