Job Responsibilities:
Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor and maintain network systems
Build, deploy, troubleshoot, monitor and repair servers
Maintain centralized system configuration, images and documentation
Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks
Configure and verify backups and updates
Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux based servers
Install and configure in-house and off-the-shelf server based applications
Routinely audit systems state and security
Provide level 2 and above tech support to teams and individual users
Administer virtualized environment according to company policies
Scheduled shift or on-call work if required
Other System Engineer tasks as required

Required Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's Degree or other certifications in IT (2+ years)
4+ years of combined work experience, preferably in IT area
2+ years experience in system and network administration
Hands on work experience with Windows and Linux server environments
Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper switches and routers is beneficial
Hands on experience with backup, update and monitoring solutions
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong attention to detail
Good communication ability in English (verbal and written)
