【A-level Physics Teacher】
Location: Close to Pudong International Airport
Vacancies: 1;
Class Size: 25--30 students;
Schedule: 8:00--16:30 Monday to Friday;
Arrival Time: August.2022;
Salary: 25-30K with 3000---5000RMB accommodation allowance per month paid in holidays, free meals at school and shuttle bus between Longyang Road Metro Station;
Additional Conditions: once a week for extra curriculum activities, and some days working at the weekends for students。
Key Requirements:
l Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Physics or equivalent;
l IG and A Level experience essential;
l Teaching certificate (from home country) highly desirable;
l Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience at international School;
l Fluent English Level ;
l Ability to work under pressure, priorities tasks and manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines;
l Excellent professionalism and teamwork awareness, strong sense of responsibility, kindness and;
l sincerity, serious and responsible, Excellent communication skills。
Professional Responsibilities:
The post holder will be required to exercise her/his professional skills and judgement to carry out in a collaborative manner, the professional duties set out below:
1. Development of the school:
l To support the vision and mission, positive ethos and policies of the whole school and raise standards of the teaching, learning and attainment of students;
l To support the evaluation of the effectiveness of the school’s policies and developments;
l To keep abreast of educational developments in PHYSICS in line with the needs of the school.
2. Teaching and Learning:
l To be an exemplary teacher, clearly demonstrating effective planning, teaching and organization, and high standards of achievement and behaviour in PHYSICS lessons;
l To be responsible for the development and on-going review of the school’s PHYSICS curriculum and related schemes of work.;
l To support the development of the school's PHYSICS assessment procedures;
l To work effectively to ensure that there is progression across the year groups;
l To be able to keep records of student progress in line with school policy;
l To be able to use assessments of students learning to inform future planning;
3. Other Specific Responsibilities:
l To participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities Participating in arrangements made by the school for the review and management of performance;
l To contribute greatly to the extra-curricular program, which includes lunchtimes, break-times, after school and sometimes weekends;
l To maintain and develop links with parents, other schools, educational institutions and the wider community, including business and industry in order to enhance teaching, learning and personal development opportunities for the Physics education of all the students.
