As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for all the service-related activities, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.
Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will provide (technical) support for ABB's customer and end-users on motors, generators and controlling system related items by telephone, email, and other communication methods.
Your responsibilities
- Providing customers high quality, proactive and value-added service solutions with excellent presentation and communication on-site and off-site
- Being responsible for coordinating with customers and other functions (regarding documentation, technical and commercial details, FAT, shipment, etc.)
- Organizing and participating in the regular or temporary project meetings and solving the emergency issues
- Following up progress of project, solving the problems to ensure the documentation, production, shipment etc and fulfilling the target timely
- Finishing other tasks arranged by supervisor
Your background
- 2+ years of experience in motors and generators industry
- Sound knowledge of general trade, commercial and motor and generator products
- A degree in Mechanical or electrical or project management engineering
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (oral and written)
- Basic PC skills, Microsoft office, SAP skill is preferred
- Must be motivated, organized and have planning skills, goal-oriented and have capability to work independently
- Must possess analytical skills, good communication skills and can undertake the pressure
