As a Senior Designer-Traction (Electrical Engineer), you will be responsible for preparing an electrical design for traction motor (asynchronous motor and permanent motor), for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to Engineering Manager I, you will prepare a technical file for the project and support after sales activities.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible to prepare an electrical design for traction motor (asynchronous motor and permanent motor)
• Being responsible to prepare the technical file for the project
• Clarifying technical issue
• Supporting production, purchasing, and test
• Support after-sales activities
• Having a background in the Traction motor industry is a plus

Your background

• 3 years of experience in motor electrical design, be familiar with related standards and tests
• Good PC skills, Microsoft office, El design software, MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.
• Good capability on at least one motor electrical design software (Adept, Ansoft, etc.）
• Good capability on motor thermal calculation, fluid simulation, motor vibration, NVH is a plus
• A bachelor’s degree or above major Motors design background/ Traction motor industry preferred
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Must have self-learning ability, sharing spirit, team spirit activity is required
