As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to Production, Purchasing, Sourcing and Service Communication with R&D colleagues to get support and to search solutions for uncertain technical issues, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager I, you will do detail mechanical design to provide all kinds of required drawings and documents.

Your responsibilities

• Working with project management department to clarify and define order information
• Making the product outline drawing, connection drawing and other customer drawings, and other technical documentation
• Doing detail mechanical design to provide all kinds of required drawings and documents
• Using engineering specific design software, generating and maintaining the bill of materials, guarantee the integrity of material information required by order fulfillment process
• Dealing with engineering change and other accidental incidents, support the production process in time.
• Providing technical support to Production, Purchasing, Sourcing and Service
• Communicate with R&D colleagues to get support and to search solutions for uncertain technical issues

Your background

• 3 years of experience about mechanical design with knowledge in machining, sheet steel, casting, welding, stamping, surface treatment manufacturing process
• Knowledge of electrical machine and familiar with the process of manufacture
• Good knowledge in Office, AutoCAD, NX and experience of SAP and PDM system will be better
• A bachelor’s degree and above
• Strong ability to solve the problem
• Fluency in Mandarin and English
• Must be proactive, high responsibilities, good team-worker and hard-worker
