We are looking for a motivated EM simulation expert for the development of our next generation power semiconductor products. Your responsibilities

• Design and develop the future generation of Si and SiC power module packaging applying your expertise in electromagnetic and thermomechanical simulation
• Find innovative design solutions for best power module performance and manufacturability
• Strongly participate during the product development process from the conceptual phase, through the characterization of functional prototypes up to the qualification of commercial samples
• Achieve project targets in a fast moving and dynamic environment
• Internally and externally present project results and provide innovation contribution by papers and patents
• Collaborate with internal and external research centers with a strong focus on sustainability
• Mentor and train young engineers with focus on EM design and simulation

Your background

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, PhD is a plus
• Strong expertise in electromagnetic simulation methodology and working knowledge of the corresponding software tools (e.g. Q3D or Comsol)
• Working knowledge of CAD tools for design development (e.g. Rhino or Autodesk Inventor)
• Knowledge in semiconductor packaging design and process preferably in the field of power devices
• Knowledge in power semiconductor packaging materials including design rules advantageous
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, good German desirable
• High curiosity and broad technical interest
