In this role, you are a member of the Work Center Testing in the BiMOS backend factory. The team's task is to maintain the testability of the measuring equipment in the semiconductor production line so that the substrates and modules (end products) can be measured according to customer requirements. It is your task to maintain the operational test equipment by actively participating in the day-to-day business and consistently addressing problems and resolving them promptly. Your responsibilities

• Oversee processes relating to measuring instruments used on semiconductor production lines
• Calibrate instruments, analyze measuring capabilities, and monitor operations (SPC) to ensure quality of measurements
• Introduce and refine metrology systems (procurement, qualification, approval), while meeting all scheduling-, cost-, and capacity targets
• Improve test procedures for the purpose of optimizing quality and yield
• Draw up test specifications, make changes to testing, and adapt documentation accordingly
• Analyze and solve problems in collaboration with other teams, e.g. Maintenance and Product Engineers, IT, Production, Quality
• Organization of the training of production personnel on new and existing test processes

Your background

• The position is open to applicants with many years of experience as well as for graduates
• Higher education (FH, ETH) in electrical engineering or similar fields of studies
• Ideally, you already have sound know-how in measurement technology including processing and analysis of measurement data
• Knowledge of all aspects of power semiconductors is a great advantage
• Excellent command of German and English
