Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of the new Digital Factory for the production of power semiconductors
  • Responsible for integration of equipment, testing and improvement of interfaces between manufacturing execution system (MES), automated equipment and databases)
  • Manage automation and improvement projects
  • Gather software user requirements and implement these together with the supplier
  • Pragramming of ABB robots
  • Provide second-level support for MES (Ability MoM, Former: Enterprise Connectivity Solution provided by ABB)
  • Provide standby service

Your background

  • Solid degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or similar
  • Proven track record in working with communication protocols (Web Services, REST API, etc.), industrial bus systems (PROFINET, OPC UA as well as DeviceNet), programming high level languages and DBs (SQL)
  • MES-related expertise (SAP, ECS) as well as experience in robotics/automation considered advantageous
  • Proficiency in the use of software deployed for automated equipment (e.g. PLC, microcontrollers etc.)
  • Experience in programming of ABB robots is advantageous
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
