Summary

TrackWise is the global application used by Baxter’s Quality organization.  Workflows currently on TrackWise include NCR/CAPA, Change Control Management, Post Market Complaints Management, Supplier Quality, Audit, Evaluation, Laboratory Investigations, and Clinical Trials Management.  Across three platforms, TrackWise is utilized to facilitate the majority of the QMS functions at Baxter.  In some cases, the workflows are highly customized and highly complex requiring developers to have an in-depth knowledge of TrackWise and associated technologies used for extended capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in delivering/supporting solutions for complex business requirements.
• Work effectively on independent projects, and in cooperation with a variety of customers/ technical professionals to prioritize tasks and resolve complex problems.
• Provide leadership for small technical teams in work breakdown, distribution, technical guidance, an oversight
• Analyze requirements to recommend approaches for building/updating TrackWise workflows for large and medium projects and small scope changes
• Utilize TrackWise tools to create and update workflows to meet requirements
• Utilize technologies, such as TrackWise web service API, Java, SQL and PL/SQL to develop solutions that extend the built-in capabilities of TrackWise
• Identify and implement process improvements for development and maintenance of TrackWise workflows
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Provide high level of technical support, as needed, and perform root cause analysis for problems experienced within area of functional responsibility

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience in development of workflow solutions on TrackWise version 8 and 9
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and organization skills required
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, under minimal direct supervision
• Advanced technical knowledge of TrackWise, including tools, techniques, and associated technologies such as Java and SQL
• Experience in all stages of systems development and support
• Experience with web services development for TrackWise and Crystal Reports
• Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus
• Knowledge of quality processes, including CAPA, Change Control, Complaint Management, FCA, or Supplier Quality, is desirable
