Schools Projects QS and management (Quantity Survey)

• Develop effective school construction projects cost estimates and benchmarks and initiate cost studies, coordinates and prepare the cost estimates based on projects progress
• Work with project team, developers, partners, designers and subcontractors to define and document scope of work
• Prepare budget estimations, pre-tender estimates, cash flows, and related tender analysis and documents
• Design drawings take off and quantity calculation
• Material, equipment market price enquiry and analyse
• Value engineering for various stages of project development
• Responsible for maintaining auditable records in accordance with target cost requirement
• Responsible for engineering and construction contracts administration including contracts review and preparation, contract compliance, payment schedules, change,management, variations etc.
• Be involved in multiple schools construction projects management from the very beginning of the campus schematic design, permitting, construction and hand over

Facility Management and Maintenance QS support

• Oversee and support Schools operation team in terms of facility hard service related price/cost validation, contracts review
• Provide support and advice to Schools facility operation on matters of contractors sourcing, cost and analysis, and tender evaluation

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, civil engineering or MEP
• More than 10 years experience in construction QS projects management from engineering consultant firms or Clients side construction projects
• Up to date knowledge of the construction market price/rates
• Capable of analysing cost and quality variances against timeline
• Desire and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experienced in cost management process, purchasing in facility construction field
• Able to travel as projects needed (approx.50% of the time)
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills, and ability to influence through consulting, communication and relationship building;
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin skills.
