Job Description

Reporting:
Direct report to Business Controller – Supply Chain
Dot line report to Brewery GM

Job purpose:
Lead and drive the implementation of the medium and long-term financial strategy of the Supply Chain function to achieve overall agenda of the HEINEKEN China. Lead financial process implementation and improvement within Supply Chain(SC) function. Manage brewery financial deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1, Manage JDE corporate and statutory accounts per Heineken accounting policy and PRC GAAP: Good understanding of JDE system and EPM system. Responsible for the outcome of the month-end and year-end closing.
2, Improve financial results and forecasting accuracy through sound practice of budgeting, forecasting & actual result management of China SC function:
? Lead the business planning cycle of Supply Chain within the Brewery for the Annual Operational Plan and Latest Estimates, including providing relevant challenges to brewery managers.
? Ensure brewery finance involvement in the S&OP process to secure a cross-functional Supply Chain perspective and alignment with the various Latest Estimates.
3, Business Performance Measurement to drive targeted and effective solution to issues that are raised and tracked monthly.
? Monitor and develop insight on the quantitative and qualitative financial performance of the Supply Chain function, and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary.
? Monitor actual cost development vs Budget/LE and provide early warnings on deviations. Present results to the Supply Chain Management Teams.
? Define and challenge the requirements for standard management reporting, further development of the Management Information System and liaise with information services to communicate identified requirements.
4, Strong financial Risk Management, capabilities to drive a common process and approach to SC business management ? Establish and implement financial related policies and processes within the Supply Chain Function to ensure the integrity of accounting records and financial information. ? Ensure financial risks for the Supply Chain Function are managed throughout the year; propose mitigating actions and flag risks to the Supply Chain Management Teams. ? Ensure the proper execution of business controls as identified in the Key Control Framework.

Qualifications:
1, University degree in Finance/Accounting as a minimum. An MBA a plus given the wide nature of the general MBA (operational Management which can give an insight into supply chain).
2, +8 years with 3 years in a supply chain/plant management team role (minimum). Past experience in FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
3, Have strong costing, manufacturing and supply chain financial operation management knowledge with internal and external customer focus.
4, Have excellent analytical and PC skills, with experience of reporting systems, Microsoft Office, JDE system (expected to learn CIL and BCS in due course given in house propriety systems).
5, Ability to perform a variety of complex accounting, budget development, analysis and result management tasks as well as fiscal analysis related to financial and accounting transactions.
6, Keep abreast of laws and regulations that apply to field of professional expertise to maintain up-to-date compliance.
7, Comprehensive understanding of the accounting and budget process, internal controls, bookkeeping procedures, automated accounting systems and full knowledge of applicable laws, statutory, rules, codes and ordinances.
