• Designs and develop transformers for SMPS and other magnetics product, and documentation of engineering drawings using CAD;

• Dedicated Responsible Individual (DRI) for any magnetics and transformer DFM and spot any design flaws that is not fit for manufacturing;

• Perform Tolerance Analysis and other simulation related to magnetics design;

• Read, review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated models;

• Performs design experiments related to transformer designs and develop test methods, from concept to planning and execution stage;

• Work with Salcomp R&D and suppliers to address any concern and perform onsite trouble-shooting, Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions;

• Conducts transformer performance verification by using simulation software and by analyses of actual data and through the development of design related algorithms in addition to the existing methods;

• Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype products;

• Compiles and analyzes operational and test data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment and/or products;

• Work with cross-functional team to accurately implement actions as agreed with the customers;

• Provide feedback to customer with regards to magnetics issues or concerns, recommendations and next-steps on product design and functionality;

• To work together with both electronics and mechanical engineers in converting customer R&D requirements like customer’s bill of material, drawing specifications, test requirements and DFM requirements;

Support and help customers in the design and development of different electronics product to meet their goal of achieving high standard quality and new technology design by bridging customers to Salcomp manufacturing environment and systems;

Education/学历：Electrical Engineering or applicable Science degree.

Language/语言：Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Experience & skill/经验、技能：

• 3-5 years experienced in transformer design and other magnetic design or other, related, magnetic products;

• Able handle projects and responsibilities with less supervision;

• Computer proficient in 2D & 3D software, 3D file management applications, Engineering simulation software and MS Office applications;

• Proficiency in DoE and FACA;
