The individual in this position will be a member of the technical support team of Thorlabs China. Alongside with other team members, this person will be responsible for providing technical support to customers based at Mainland China and Hong Kong, ensuring the core value of Thorlabs, which is customer centricity, and satisfaction of Thorlabs services and products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

职责描述

1. Understand customer’s request, provide technical support and answer customers’ technical questions via email and phone call.

理解客户应用需求，通过邮件和电话解决客户光电子产品相关的技术问题；

2. Select appropriate products and provide solutions according to customers’ requirements by means of reproducing customers’ setup in lab or cooperating with other entities of Thorlabs, etc.;

通过与Thorlabs全球的技术支持团队成员密切合作，为客户提供***技术解决方案；

3. Arrange the return and repair process for malfunctioned products;

在测试实验室复现客户报告的技术问题，以及对故障产品进行检测和问题排查；

4. Attend conferences and trade shows and set up Demos.

参加行业内高端展会和相关学术会议，负责展品Demo的设计、现场搭建与调试，以及在展会期间接待客户。

JOB REQUIREMENTS

职位要求

1. A Master's Degree in Optics, Opto-electronics, Physics or equivalent;

光学、光电子、物理等相关专业硕士学位；

2. Understanding the underlying physics in Optics, Mechanics and Electronics;

了解光学、机械、电子、光纤以及光电测量知识；

3. Experience in optical setup, and knowledge of wide variety of photonics devices preferred

优先考虑熟悉光学系统搭建和光学测量技术，以及各种光学仪器的使用；

4. Proficiency in written English;

具备良好的中英文书面交流能力；

5. Customer centering mentality;

以友好、协商的态度满足客户需求；

6. Must be self-motivated, and good team work spirit.
