JOB TITLE: Project Quality Engineer

REPORT TO: Quality Supervisor

MISSION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality Management of new projects assigned by Project Coordinator.

• Assist in development of client proposals & requirements (Drawing definitions, tolerances, standards) identifying Quality project risks.

• Day to day administration of the Project Quality Requirements (Customer / Internal APQP surveillance)

• Be in charge to handle PPAP request and follow up.

• Responsible to assure production folder is completed before mass production

• Checking fixture concept design.

• Checking fixtures final approval.

• CMM requirement definition.

• Set Prototype and Pre-Serial Quality Controls & Inspection activities.

• Be in charge and follow up full activities before mass production. That means:

o Check parts from try-outs done by toolmaker (Wuxi or toolmaker plant)

o Create audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.

o Internal transfer audit and PPAP audit.

2. Customer concerns follow up during serial mass production.

• Customer Portal Webs monitoring & IMDS

• Investigating and analysing PPM’s and customer complain, be the direct contact with customer regarding quality request or claim and report to manager customer demand, creating 8D report , accomplish the improvement.

• Periodical customer plant visits with sales & project team.

3. Others.

• Be in charge surveillance customer visit

In compliance with our ISO/TS 16949 certification and make sure to maintain our level.

4. Quality system management tasks

o Maintain and follow up action plan &KPI performance

o Make internal system audit planning and implement

o In compliance with our IATF16949 certification and make sure to maintain our level

o Be responsible to set up and follow up layer audits and internal audits (system, product and process)

o Responsible for Quality System Maintenance and be in charge of establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor or above, majoring in Mechanical or Engineering.

Fluent English is mandatory.

At least 3 years years or above working experience on automotive industry: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC.

Knowledge of quality functions, and good knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system / TS16949.
