Job Summary:

The Radio Performance verification unit within Radio Access Networks R&D center in Beijing is responsible for Ericsson RBS HW Radio Performance verification including transmitter Radio performance and Receiver radio Performance. Products scope covers all generation RBS products for GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR products.

We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high product RADIO PERFORMANCE is your main responsibility
• Design new test method for Massive MIMO and 5G NR products
• Develop and setup new test environment and program for M-MIMO and 5G NR products
• Setup test environment and execute test cases
• Analyze test result and generate test report
• Customer on-site support

Key Qualifications:

• Master degree or above of first level University major in telecommunication, electronic and so on
• Fluent in English speaking
• Solid RF knowledge and instruments
• High Energy levels, positive as a person with a can do mentality with high drive ability to get things done
• Good understanding about commination technology such as MIMO, Beamforming, etc.
• Experience with antenna, anechoic chamber or OTA test is expected

Prefer:

• Excellent hands-on skills in RF System verification, especially in RF performance measurement area for RBS is a plus.
• Good knowledge about Radio performance qualification theory, methods and related HW/SW tools such as Labview (Java, python) for automation, or Instruments such as SA, SG, NWA

Strong experience with wireless communication systems such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS, FDD&TDD LTE, NR etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g. ETSI, 3GPP 51, 25, 36, 37, 38 series).
