You will be part of the GM R&D team developing and validating novel algorithms for autonomous driving and intelligent connected vehicles on end-to-end simulation platforms, advancing fundamental AI/ML knowledge, collaborating with world-class universities / industry partners.

Develop and maintain quality Python/C++ code under Linux for general purpose CPU/GPU platforms. Use agile development, configuration, integration, version control software tools.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment including cross-functional global teams and research universities

• BS or MS with 3+ years of research experience in computer science or similar discipline
• Strong software development skills in Python/C++ under Linux environments with a proven ability to deliver high-quality software on time
• Strong math background with computer graphics, expertise in manipulating high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources to highlight patterns, relationships and trends with machine learning techniques
• Develop requirements and evaluation metrics for AI/ML based planning systems and benchmark algorithms and supplier technologies
• Experience in prototyping algorithms, implement and test software on hardware-in-the-loop simulators
• Effective verbal/written communication along with strong interpersonal skills
• Hands-on development experience in one or more of the following tools:

Pytorch, TensorFlow/Keras
