AL.EA. Consulting is an Italian company with the Headquarters in Italy and its Representative Office in Shanghai.

The company has been doing business in China for 15 years and it has been growing on a yearly basis.

AL.EA. is specialized in OEM Aluminum die-casting semi-finished parts for different industries, from street lightings to automotive.

We offer to our customers a full range of services which goes from the project design through the samples and mass production to the final delivery.

Currently we are looking for a new member of our team. He/She must have 2-3 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing of mechanical and casting parts.

The right candidate will have to follow the new requests coming from our Headquarters:

• analyze the new projects /check the technical drawings
• look for suitable suppliers and ask the quotations
• double check that the quotations received meets the technical demands

In addition He/She will have to look for new suppliers and maintain the relationships with the already acquired ones.

Responsibilities:

• New project analysis

Example: check the technical drawings and evaluate feasibility, potentially difficult areas, etc.

• Supplier research and selection

Example: based on the drawing evaluation find / contact the most suitable suppliers for that project

• Quotation analysis and risk management

Example: carefully compare the quotations received from different suppliers to see if they are all in the same price range

• Price negotiation
• Finalize all the details with supplier in view of a potential order
• Follow the production of the molds / samples
• Communicate with Head Office in Italy

Requirements:

• Previous working experience in a similar field (procurement, sourcing, purchasing, etc.)
• Good English
• Basic technical knowledge of casting and machining products

Able to read 2D drawings

Knowledge of the main production technologies and materials

• Capable of relating the technical side with the commercial side of a project
• Attentive to the details
