The Coding Data Mining Specialist (CDMS) supports with Coding Data Mining Managers (CDMM) on managing data mining of coded data.He/she provides expertise for data analysis based on information coded with a specific dictionary (MedDRA, WHODD).He/she is in charge of creating and maintaining lists necessary to regroup specific class of events or medications in collaboration with the requesters and users, lik clinicians (CSDs, CRDs) or pharmacovigilance representatives.He /she can define training material in collaboration with CDMM and departmental training groups (for Clinical, Biostats, GPE, Regulatory affairs..).

He/she must proactively maintain his/her knowledge of international coding practices and dictionary structure changes and keep the users (medical coders, programmers …) informed.He/she needs to report dictionary structure issues and data mining issues to CDMM timely.-Ability tocommunicate and work within a matricial organization-Ability tounderstand and process several levels of information for multiple projects-Goodexpertise in coding dictionaries (MedDRA, WHODD, ICD, NCI, …)-Familiarwith Coding processes-Good command of the English language-Goodknowledge in ICH, GCP-Goodcommunication and teaching skills-Customers & quality focused
