Job Description
Job Outline:
The post holder will be managing the overall exam related processes for both University exams and Chinese National level exams (i.e. CET) to ensure the adherence of the University and national exam regulations and delivery of high-quality service to staff and students at all levels within the areas of exam services. The post holder will also act as the lead contact for the curriculum management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize the team and manage technical/software/system resources to schedule the University end of semester and re-sit examinations with high level of accuracy in terms of exam data collection and keep students taking exams on consecutive days to a minimum.
- Lead on planning and organizing external national exams, e.g. CET.
- Organize overseas/alternative exams.
- Develop, review and update exams related policies and work practice.
- Interpret and advise policies and regulations in relation to curriculum management.
- Manage the team to maintain curriculum/exam/teaching timetable records in the systems (e.g. student record management system - Campus Solutions, exam scheduling system – Optime & Exam Scheduler, and teaching timetabling & room booking - Syllabus Plus) and utilize system-generated data for analysis/scheduling use.
- Lead on supplying, analysing and interpreting regular statistical reporting and making recommendations on exam related issues.
- Assist in producing curriculum reports.
- Contribute to annual curriculum data maintenance in student record management system - Campus Solutions.
- Review and identify customers’ needs to improve staff/student satisfaction in the specialised areas.
- Support the delivery of quality service in curriculum management.
- Provide training/information sharing workshop to staff e.g. invigilation training, curriculum data maintenance in student record management system - Campus Solution.
- Liaise with UNNC schools/departments/professional service units, UK/UNMC counterparts and local exam authorities as appropriate to ensure exams run smoothly.
- Supervise the daily operation of the team, provide the training and monitor team members’ performance to ensure work of the team is carried out to the required standard.
- To work with other function units within the Academic Services Office at the key points of the academic year (e.g. Graduation, Registration) in order to ensure a "fit for purpose" administrative support service to all areas of the Office’s work and responsibilities;
- To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as appropriate to the role.
