Function: Be responsible for field service support of Imaging Systems, including installation, maintenance, repair and training to the customers in China.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work together with the Imaging System Team as a proficient team.

• To provide instrument installation, maintenance, modification, repair, checkup and training activities on the customer site, service workshop or exhibitions.

• To provide high quality service to customers and achieve their satisfaction and optimal service quality.

• To provide supports to internal groups such as attending seminars, user trainings, sales demo and exhibition.

• To maintain his/her own tools, service parts and technical information in good conditions.

• To compile and archive comprehensive field service reports.

• Assist the supervisor to achieve the yearly targets of Imaging System group.

Working Relationships and Contacts

• External contacts include customers from laboratories, institutes, factories, universities, hospitals and so on.

• Internal contacts include China and US R&D, Technical Supports, Sales, Marketing and so on.

Requirements

• Master Degree or higher in physics, optics, or engineering.

• Working experience in Microscopy or Optics labs is preferred.

• Be able to travel frequently for work.

• Be able to receive trainings abroad and to continuously learn and acquire expertise in Imaging Systems.

• Prioritizes activities to complete assigned work.

• Anticipates problems and acts to manage them appropriately.

• Engages in self-development to expand job and company knowledge in order to be more effective.

• Creates concise Chinese instructions for the systems being serviced.

• Supports team goals and team members. Sharing the work progress with the team routinely.

• Excellent English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
