Architecture 20%

? Design enterprise database architecture and governance framework

? Design database management strategy & standards to guide daily operation

Operation 50%

? Set up, Monitor and optimize the performance of the database, diagnose & resolve problems, and contact database vendors for technical support

? Manage and maintain database user access & privilege

? Allocate system storage and make capacity plan future storage requirements of the database system, modify the database structure as necessary

? Develop database queries for applications and programs as needed

Security 30%

? Develop database security standards for access control, encryption, API, patch, log, backup and etc

? Work as security SME for big data projects, and provide suggestions from security perspective

? Database encryption and API security management, database log review

? Backup and recovery of database information, Maintaining archived data, Backing up and restoring databases

General Requirements

? 5-10 year experience in Oracle DBA or MS SQL

? Strong knowledge of relational databases & database programming, such as SQL and Oracle

? Strong knowledge of data mining of big data, such as Mango DB & Hadoop

? Understanding of NoSQL

? Experience in optimizing query plans

? Experience in database security
