Description:

Translating research reports from English to Simplified Chinese as instructed Ensure reports are translated and published in an efficient manner.

Key responsibilities:

• The translator will work on-site at client’s office;
• The work will be completed during normal business hours, but the Translator may be required to work extra hours depending on the work load;
• The translator will be dedicated to Research Dept., and abide by all applicable client’s policies;
• The Translator would have to attend all new joiner and applicable training as delivered from time to time;
• The Translator should not share unpublished research with non-authorized personnel.

Requirements:

• Fully Chinese/English bilingual and bicultural;
• Financial Translation experience is a MUST;
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail, careful and responsible;
• Highly commitment to research reports;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Quick learner, thinker and team player.

Typical KPIs and targets:

• Translation speed (> 2500 words/characters of source language per day);
• Translation accuracy (error rate < 3‰);
• Translation should follow the style guide;
• Cooperation with research analysts, editors and SAs.
