Description:

As an external member of Network and Security Services team in BI IT China, the Network Engineer is responsible for implementing new solutions and supporting the network and security infrastructure working closely with BI IT members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implementation of network connectivity and security solutions
• Stability of network services
• Incident and Change Management - resolve incidents escalated by level 1 as per the agreed SLAs and timelines
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor
• Documentation update based on System Design Lifecycle

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years working experience as a network engineer in MNC or in international system Integration Company.
• Serious working attitude towards tasks and has initiative to complete task that might not in your scope with proper instruction.
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrative hands-on experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, IPsec VPN, VLANs, STP, Ether Channel bonding, Cisco wireless solution including WLC and Prime Infrastructure, IPv4 Subnet, dynamic routing protocol including OSPF, EIGRP, Cisco Nexus series switches, Palo Alto firewall, etc.
• Possess clear troubleshooting mind and analytic skills when facing complex circumstance and internal customer pressure.
• Experience with cabling, fiber optics, and production enterprise data center or enterprise network project implementation.
• Willing to communicate with different kinds of people both in Chinese and English and both verbal and written with an understandable, polite and friendly manner.
• Network related certifications such as CCNA/CCNP & ITIL will be added advantage, etc.
• English speaking is a must
