Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of Windows Server (2016) to include provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PKI
• Support and administer Box, Okta SSO, Okta, MFA (Okta Verify or Yobico), WebEx, and Jabber
• Receive and respond to escalations from Desktop Support and field support team. Escalate issues to management, if necessary.
• Manage incidents and changes using ITSM – Remedy or ServiceNow
• Support other areas of technology supported by Server team (Exchange, Azure, ProofPoint, and Single-Sign on – Okta)
• Support System Center Configuration Manager (patching, reporting, packaging applications, and deploying software).
• Support Asset management activities
• Create, troubleshoot, and support PowerShell scripts
• Monitor and troubleshoot Veritas backups and scheduled jobs
• Provide Root cause analysis to production outages as required
• Administer Nutanix AHV and VMware hardware and software.
• Adhere to IT access-management and change control procedures.
• Basic understanding of SQL database environments and support.
• Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff to execute the IT strategy in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk management techniques and integrate new methods and tools as appropriate.
• Network architecture design and continuing improvement configuration, installation and software version control/revision on all network equipment
• Monitor performance, provide capacity analysis /planning, and be able to be part of a 24x7x365 on call rotation.
• Evaluate new technologies and support decision-making process and long-term technical direction.
• Provide project and vendor management as needed.
• Install, configure and maintain Cisco networking hardware such as IOS, NXOS based Catalyst and Nexus Switches, Wireless Access Points, Cisco, Juniper routers, Cisco and Juniper Firewall, Cisco IPSec VPN and Juniper SSL VPN, Cisco FCoE, and Cisco and Palo Alto IDS/IPS etc. Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of network systems and services.

Skill/Job Requirements:

• 5 years+ support Windows and Network Infrastructure

• Windows server 2008-2012r2

• TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, PKI

• Power Shell Scripting

• SSO – Federated services

• Experience with Exchange 2010-2013, O365 Azure is a huge plus.
• Experience with SCCM and server patching
• Experience and understanding of the following Data Center technologies is a must: Cisco Nexus data center architecture, Cisco FCoE, Cisco Fiber Interconnect, Cisco Unified Computing, Cisco ASA firewall and Firepower, Palo Alto Networks Firewall, Proxy, SSLv, Url Filtering, and Cisco Routers with MPLS and private lines
• Extensive experience on layer 2 protocols like STP, VTP, VLANs, and Cisco Nexus series. Routing protocols like OSPF, BGP and EIGRP, security protocols SSL, VPN and IPSec/NAT is required.
• Extensive experience managing VPN using IPsec & GRE to configure and troubleshoot VPN backup. Security protocols SSL, VPN and IPSec/NAT is required.
• Understanding and hands on experience with QoS, multicast, and NAC is a plus
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager, Contact Center and Unity Connection is a plus
• Strong ability to identify, determine and document customer requirements

Educational Background

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCITP certification is a big plus.
