Accountabilities:

• Perform workshop inspection in related industry field, such as pumps, valves, piping, fittings, pressure vessels, boilers,

steel structures, mechanical equipment, etc.

• Perform site inspection in related project, such as power project, chemical & petrochemical projects, crane project, etc.
• Review and understand applicable contractual requirements (regulations, technical standards, specifications, etc).
• Define and review Quality Plan, Inspection and Test plans, and relevant procedures
• Review and validate inspection of assignment documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedule,

milestones, reporting, logistics, coordination procedure, etc.)

• Execute or supervise (required by more experienced inspector) inspection according to predefined Quality Plan, and the

established inspection procedures / techniques

• Define interventions
• Review and appraise inspection procedures
• Select the most appropriate inspection techniques
• Make decisions on the quality issues independently
• Execute inspection reporting, including treatment of non-conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent level in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with education background in Welding,

Chemical Mechanical, NDT, Power Equipments, Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Equipment, E&I, etc.

• Working Experience: at least 5 years’ related working experience
• Fully conversant with relevant inspection techniques and able to select most appropriate technique
• Good knowledge of national and/or international code, standard and regulation, such as ASME, API, etc.;
• Familiar with Quality Management System (ISO, etc);
• Able to verify and establish Quality Plan or Inspection Testing Plan
• Able to monitor, coach 1 or more Inspectors (required by more experienced inspector)
• Able to design and delivery of training for inspectors and clients (required by more experienced inspector)
• Act as recognized senior professional in the relevant area (required by more experienced inspector)
• Able to verify and approve Non-Conformities / Corrective action
• Frequent travel or site base required according to project arrangements
• Good English and local language skills
• PC Skills
• Good health is required
