RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical support for market development of PLF in Asia North region (Great China, Japan, South Korea) to support regional business development and deploy global PLF strategy
• To be a key technical expert providing technical solutions and consultancy in poultry and swine farm management regarding diseases control, data management and related solutions according to specific customer needs
• To develop localized or customized package solutions and concept in combination of products, services, tools, and knowledge to build up Evonik expertise in the market the same time to expand business and realize turnover
• To provide professional support to technical manager and business manager by exchanging information, to visit key customers where necessary and resolve critical technical issues when needed
• To identify customer needs together with PLF business manager and technical manager in poultry meat production value chain from customer side to support Evonik’s future products and solutions design and related business development focus
• To maintain exchange and cooperation with PLF group in Germany, to work closely with them to understand local business situation and market needs, seek and gain support to maximize the return on investment
• To support market development by providing valuable insight and valid analysis on PLF related new product launch in Asia North Region
• To provide technical trainings to Asia North commercial and Tech Service teams to help them to get insight of products, services, tools supporting that information is delivered to stakeholders at customers in the region
• Above tasks require travel >40%

REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Veterinary or poultry production is a must
• Min. 3 years of experiences in poultry farm or poultry product field after graduation with PhD degree
• Veterinary background with Knowledge and experiences in Poultry farm management is highly preferable
• Good at data processing ability
• Identify and prioritize projects on PLF business development
• Closely and actively work with PLF commercial manager, business managers and technical service managers to ensure business development is on track
• To work closely with PLF team in Germany and other regions within BL AN
• Strong internal (Evonik team) and external (customers, peers in industry) communication ability
• High motivation on taking challenges and conquering of difficulties
• Strong self-confidence, endurance and good oral presentation skills
• Ability to work in and lead cross functional teams (i.e. technical + sales) in various projects
• Strong innovation skills, with ability to develop localized solutions and concepts according to customer needs
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to act and analyze challenges from customers and internal colleagues
• Independent working skill and strong learning agility for self-renewing
• Sophisticated skill on IT or programming is appreciated
• Innovative and strategic thinking
• Customer intimacy and commercial sense
• Fluent communication in Mandarin is a must and working level in English is highly preferred
