Primary Responsibilities:

• This person will report to the Director of Department
• Accurately and completely interpret and/or translate languages between clients and Director to facilitate clear and meaningful communication
• Upon request from Administration, translate notes, forms, and school information from Chinese into English or from English into Chinese
• Collaborate with District staff to create a safe, trusting and professional environment
• Provide interpreter services at meetings, conferences, and other functions
• Once scheduled, perform duties with punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
• Abide by strict confidentiality at all times
• Currently in Ningbo

Qualifications:

• Proficient bilingual skills (Oral and Written) in English and Chinese
• Highly effective interpersonal skills with culturally diverse people
• Speak and understand two languages with fluency, at an educated native speaker level, with an understanding of the culture behind the language
• Punctuality
