• Design and support LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure and associated software and hardware plan for management or phasing out of legacy systems and technologies
• Collaborate with help desk to resolve trouble tickets and resolve end-user issues
• Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for network traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of IT systems
• Conduct testing and development disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems
• Captures and analyzes network demands, responsible of the demand coordination to IT processes. Ensures that user requirements are captured so that those represent the user needs.
• Proposes, creates and defines network solutions best fitting to the business problems/needs and ensures that solutions are analyzed and planned properly. Supports creation of feature, architectural and solution documentation.
• With support from other IT functional roles, participates to investment proposal preparation and business case creation(including relevant business& IT value impact). Understands dependencies in solution design like costs, schedule, quality, speed, and cost-effective implementation options.
• Accountable for the network solution design and architecture alignment together with Enterprise/Solution Architecture. With stakeholders/users and development team, determine if a solution can be built that meets user needs within specified constraints (time, money, resources etc.). Accountable for efficiency, effectiveness and quality of detailed solutions.
• Supports network solution deployments and executes testing. Supports security assessments and use phase issues / preparation. Finds and proposes improvements /corrective actions for issues occurring during the use phase.

Qualification

• 5+ years installing and maintaining Enterprise LAN/WAN and related infrastructure
• Proven experience with data networks including physical layer infrastructure, LAN/WAN hardware, software, data transmission facilities and interconnecting devices.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless networks including but not limited to installation, configuration, and monitoring.
• Proven knowledge and practical application of network security, firewall, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management, intrusion detection and security monitoring.
• Working technical knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol suite, IP routing protocols. Frame-Relay, IPSEC VPN, and xDSL Technologies. OSI Model and Layered Troubleshooting Working technical knowledge of routing protocols, OSPF, BGP etc.
• Working technical knowledge of bandwidth management and event correlation, Virtual Private Networks, Change Management, Enterprise Network Management.
• Proven knowledge and practical application of SNMP, security, firewalls, access and perimeter control, vulnerability management, intrusion detection and security monitoring.
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional)
• Bachelor’s degree is not a must but a bonus.
• ITIL Certification (preferably V3)
• Fluent in English ( oral and written). Enable work with Global team efficiently.
