Job Purpose
Provide technical support in order to drive sales growth within the assigned geography and verticals.
KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
? Monthly:
? Time @ work, Utilization KPI measurements for Number of key customer and project technical meetings including but not limited to solution presentations, technical clarifications, specs / architectures, workbook activity
? Quarterly:
? Strategic Industry [Initiatives/specific BU] Wins
? Strategic Industry account breakthroughs
? Number of industry marketing activities
? Individual development:
? Industry application solution development
Key Responsibilities
DO
? Work proactively with the customer to make product and architectural recommendations. Examples would include technical suitability, cost/ performance evaluation, technical trends, migration considerations, proof of concept, configuration testing, and customer application assistance.
? Deliver post-sales support and embedded engineering activities (if applicable).
? Develop engineering standards, methods, and guidelines.
? Lead the exchange of best practices within industry accounts.
? Promote the industry-focused applications into key accounts.
? Contribute to the development of marketing collaterals such as brochures, white papers and application notes in Automotive industries
? Train and develop industry competency among sales, channel partners, and other RA technical community to be recognized as a global automation partner with deep industry expertise
? Support and lead industry marketing activities including but not limited to creating collateral, demos, app notes, etc

Job related competencies
? High level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge in required SBUs. If focusing on Process/Hybrid Industry, solid understanding of Process Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of Process Solutions customers) with a basic understanding of OEM Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of OEM customers). Intermediate level of expertise in all our products.
? Intermediate level of expertise in Training.
? Intermediate expertise in Prospecting & New Customer Development, with a basic level of expertise in Market Research & Analysis (Market & Economic Trends, Customer Buying Behavior, Competitor Research), Project / Implementation Management and Sales Fundamentals
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Automation is required.
? 2~3 years automation application experience in Automotive industry
? Have Rockwell product application experience will be priority consider.
? Familiar with the GM control standard will be priority consider.
