Profile: Bachelors degree or above
Skills and requirements:
? Management> strong customer service skills and ability to work with people who belong to different backgrounds
? Communication> ability to communicate effectively, maintain cooperative peer relationships, maintain strict confidentiality, teamwork oriented.
? Language proficiency> High knowledge of English written & spoken.
Job purpose:
? Supervise all the activities related to Student Services
? Ensure the high quality of academic service and student service of School
Job description:
? Support the Local School Director and Director of Education in the planning of courses and tutor assignment.
? Make sure the Local Partner School Director and the Director of Education get a feedback from students on the course and operations.
? For academic counselling, Academic and Student Service Specialists liaise with tutors to offer practical advice to resolve specific difficulties with assessment, or issues students might be having in point of their learning.
For matters of pastoral care the Student Support Officers help students in:
? finding their way around School and city;
? managing their time;
? dealing with stress;
? exam tips;
? getting the best from their course;
? understanding and applying the school’s rules;
? anything else they would like to talk about.
Reporting:
He/she reports to the local Director of Education
Recruitment:
He/she is recruited and selected by the local School director, who is also in charge of the contract and the remuneration package proposal.
