Job Summary
This position will support NMC in achieving corporate goals, attract and retain existing and potential customers, and increase awareness of NMC and the Nurnberg Messe Brand within the various exhibition markets and the local vicinity. It provides end-to-end marcom planning, strategy, execution and optimization, and is the center of excellence for Social and Digital marketing.
Responsibilities
- Keep contact with HQ to ensure all MARCOM activities and materials are aligned with global standards. Closely with market, customers & sales, to dig new communication activity and materials to boost the communication effects.
- Work with local third party partners, including local media, and maintain professional working relationships with local official bodies and exhibition industry competent authorities. Create and maintain a comprehensive media and marketing contact management system relevant to the target audiences of the exhibition field.
3. Overall responsibility for developing the marketing plan for project promotion, and ensure results’ quality.
4. Provide necessary marketing research/analytical information and ensure the accomplishment of marketing material content and design within project timeline.
5. Responsible for the overall media plan and campaigns and partnership with key media worldwide
6. Responsible for the marketing communication (regular newsletters, press releases, etc).
7. Responsible for creating and implementing innovative events and activities.
Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Business Management. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in developing and implementing marketing communications and digital programs, managing events and programs, creating sales tools. Minimum of 2 years of people manager responsibility. And ability to work as part of a global team to support MD of NMC.
2. He/She should be experienced in business-to-business environment, strong language capability especially in English and Chinese writing, and able to lead a team.
3. Innate ability to navigate through a complex matrix organization and lead process changes. Must be inspired by Marketing Communications execution particularly exhibition, event & social marketing. Strong analytical capabilities. Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Great communication and collaboration skills. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong ability to influence and impact.
