Job Summary:

The Manager Information Security will work collaboratively across the BCD Travel organization to establish and lead security control design and implementation for the BCD Travel enterprise. The position will align the security requirements with business need and will clearly communicate those needs into requirements actionable by the BCD Travel organization. The ideal candidate will identify and report on the effectiveness of the security controls, will support security posture improvement efforts and will also lead, direct and guide security tasks of others in achievement of objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Leads, plans, and executes security projects, including developing project plans and deliverables to schedules

2.Identifies key risks and controls, recommends improved controls, performs controls readiness projects and identifies and assesses configuration of controls (security, change management, operations and program development) impacting security.

3. Utilizes skills in consulting, auditing and business process analysis to identify and communicate gaps to meeting security objectives.

4. Manages personnel including hiring, counseling, scheduling, terminating, training, motivating and evaluating.

5. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures.

6. Must be able to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

7. Work independently in the absence of supervision.

8. Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as requested.

Education / Knowledge / Experience:

1. Professional certifications from ISACA (CISA, CISM), (ISC)2 (CISSP), PMP, or SANS strongly preferred.

2. Advanced knowledge of BCD Travel concepts and practices.

3. Experienced skills relative to security and policy legalities (5 years minimum).

4. Management experience (2 years minimum).

5. Familiar with Travel Industry (2 years minimum).
