Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing “Technical Solutions” to customers for Supply Chain solutions, through remote support telephone, web chat and e-mail.
  • Maintaining high quality of support experience and KPIs to customers in terms of SLO, Customer satisfaction and Resolution.
  • Delivering trainings to customers on Aspen PIMS and other Supply Chain Suites of Products. Updating course material for continuous training delivery improvement.
  • Providing “Consultative Support Services” to customers on-site for Implementation & On-site troubleshooting with a commitment to complete the task on schedule.
  • Demo Supply Chain Solutions and its features to customers for “Sales Activities Support” and new functions/features adoption.
  • Create and Publish “Knowledge Base Articles” on Supply Chain Technology for customer's access through online support center.
  • Participating in Product Testing of future software releases to help drive improved product quality


Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Operations Research
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in consulting or technical support
  • Ability to learn the designing, modeling and maintaining of decision support systems, either in AspenTech Refinery Supply Chain Planning product (Aspen PIMS) or similar products. Exposure to latest technologies, e.g. PIMS AO (Advanced Optimization), will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to learn and support the development of planning models for Petroleum refineries and Petrochemical plants. Knowledge and experience in multi period and multi plant planning models is an added advantage.
  • Competency in the use of Linear Programming techniques and ability to troubleshoot model structural issues.
  • Knowledge of refinery process operations, scheduling, blending and oil movements
  • Ability to learn the refinery economics and KPI’s
  • Knowledge in crude assay management tool of AspenTech or equivalent products will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge in using Excel spreadsheets and VBA. SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks
  • Fast learner with desire and motivation to learn and adopt cutting-edge technologies.
  • Desire to learn general knowledge in other technology areas in AspenTech, e.g. MES or Engineering.
  • Ability and motivation to do self-learning or self-training
  • A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationship internally and externally.
  • Strong written and oral English and Chinese communication skills. Additional language skills such as Korean is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver high quality work.
  • Willing to travel 30-40% time, both domestic and international.
