Goal: To establish and implement organization’s EHS policy and procedures under group guideline to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization comply with all current and future regulations and laws.

Internal: All departments of the organization.

External: External EHS service institution, Environment Protection Bureau, Labor Bureau, Fire Brigade, Health Administration Bureau, Safe Production Supervision & Administration Bureau and other government authorities.

General:

Define & monitor environment management objective and programs. Coordinate with external audit company, service provider and government authorities.

Lead the identification process of all environment factors involved in the operation of the plant. Define measures and actions related to these environment factors.

Specific:

Take lead in setting up and maintaining plant EHS system based on developing new programs and site procedures meeting ISO 14001 and local EHS regulation requirements.

Assist in obtaining EHS permits and governmental approvals as necessary for any new or modified plants operation.

Review EHS performance, compliance and management systems and drive continuous improvement regularly.

Review incidents & accidents and significant potential incidents. To prepare recommendations for corrective and preventive actions as well.

Conduct new employee EHS awareness training;

Equipment EHS acceptance;

Daily EHS inspection;

Plan and conduct fire drill, Emergency Evacuation, etc. as required;

Keep good relationship with local government;

Prepare EHS report as required;

Responsible for procurement of laws & regulations related to environment management.

Authority:

To stop and handle all unsafe behaviour; to be aware of production safety status and handle emergency case; to propose the waste disposal solution according to the law requirements; to ask for corrective actions for audit findings.
