Our client is based in Germany and employs almost 1000 people in Germany and abroad with a turnover

of 250 million. The operative business of the medium-sized family business is conducted on the basis of

diversified, independent business units in the field of composite films, architectural paints, system pastes

and micro-layer corrosion protection systems for industrial use. The company is the market and

technology leader in the field of microlayer corrosion protection systems and is now a global player with

a development and production centre in Germany. In addition, there are now technical centres in the

USA, Brazil, South Korea and China.

For this client we are looking for an:

Technical Support

based in Shanghai, P. R. China

Your Responsibilities

Function:

• Supporting the whole supply chain of the automotive industry in China
• Promoting our product in new business fields
• Analysing customer requirements and propose the right product and process solution
• Communicating the technology department in HQs and in China

Detail Activities:

• Analysing and resolving of technical issues
• Finding the right products for the end-user′s needs
• Controlling, adjusting and setting up of coating lines incl. testing equipment for customers
• Supporting the customers to improve the coating process
• Collecting, analysing and reporting of technical figures
• Auditing customers (sometimes together OEMs)

Your Qualifications

Professionally

• University degree in chemistry or mechanics
• At least two years of working experience in a chemical or fastener company
• Knowledge about the automotive and wind industry is a plus
• Experience with German or international companies is welcomed
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Willingness to frequent business travelling
• Driver’s License

• Accustomed to work independently and under pressure
• Accustomed to work quickly and structured
• Teamwork skills
