COHOST LIVING is a new collection of co-living apartments, held together by an affinity for designed community living, offering our members a different way to live. About the General Manager Role:


This is a fantastic opportunity to join COHOST as General Manager where you will lead and manage one of the newest and best designed co-living communities in Shanghai. Based at our West Bund site, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, managing a team and creating excellence at all service levels. In this role you will be a key member of and report directly to the Head office. Our community is opening late in 2017, but we want you to get started immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Property Opening- Lead the opening of our new properties, making every COHOST property an unrivalled living experience. Manage high level external relationships, licensing, and partnerships.

  • Personnel Management- Manage our community and our front desk, rooms, and maintenance teams on site by driving exceptional performance, streamlining all processes and procedures, and implementing employee training to ensure the team is efficient, motivated, and delivery focused.

  • Property Management- Oversee regular inspections of properties andmake recommendations for supplies, materials, equipment orders, maintenance work, physical repairs, replacements, and/or improvements to ensure a seamless living experience for our members.
  • Marketing & Leasing -Supervise ouradvertising, marketing and social media, working in conjunction withour Marketing Manager to achieve rent stabilization. Prepare regular market surveys, weekly/monthly reports and review all rental applications and lease contracts.
  • Financial Reporting & Administration- Directly responsible for the property P&L including monthly financial accounting, reporting, payroll andpurchase orders for all equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:


  • Passionate about co-living, with a proven level of exceptional customer service
  • University education with minimum of five(5) years hotel management experience
  • Previous experience opening Hotels or Serviced Apartments is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, including spoken and written fluency in Chinese and English
  • Ability to handle finances and work within a budget, conduct business with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, assertiveness and have the ability to serve as a role model for your staff.
  • Demonstrate integrity on a personal level, as well as on a professional level
  • Attention to detail with the ability to solve problems involving tenants, personnel, finances, equipment failure, emergency situations, etc.

工作职责:


  • 专业的领导能力: 带领我们的新项目进入市场,协助COHOST品牌成为上海无与伦比的独特生活体验。管理并维护高层次的外部关系,以及与服务伙伴的合作关系。
  • 人事管理:管理社区、前台、客服及其内部维修团队,带领团队卓越完成工作,简化所有流程及程序,确保团队高效、积极并且专注的工作。
  • 物业管理:监督定期现场检查,对物资、材料、设备、维护工作、维修、更换和/或改进给予建议,并确保我们的成员有一个完美的体验。
  • 营销和租赁: 监督各类广告、营销和社交媒体活动。与营销经理协同工作,以实现稳定收租。准备定期市场调研,完成每周和每月报告,审查所有租赁申请及租赁合同。
  • 财务报告及行政:与财务人员协调工作,直接负责物业的运营损益,包括编制月度财务报表、薪水册、所有的设备和供应品采购订单。

职位要求:


  • 热爱合住生活,具有卓越的客户服务水平
  • 本科学历,至少五年酒店管理经验
  • 有经营酒店或服务型公寓经验者优先
  • 优秀的沟通协调能力,包括流利的中英文口语及书写能力
  • 具有财务管理并在预算内工作的能力,有进取心,能以积极、热情和自信的工作态度开展业务,有能力成为员工的榜样。
  • 高水平的个人及职业操守
  • 注重细节,有能力解决各类问题(其中涉及租户、人事、财务、设备故障和紧急情况等)
