We are a pizzeria and casual dining Italian restaurant, serving up authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizza and rustic Italian comfort food in a casual yet sophisticated setting. Our pizzas are wood-fired using the freshest imported Italian ingredients in a custom-built brick oven under the guidance of third generation pizzaiolo Paolo Salvo.

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing daily execution of two high foot traffic Italian casual restaurants as well as providing leadership and coaching to achieve high operational standards and increase sales and profits. The Director of Operations fosters a culture of high energy and high performing teams making each restaurant of our brand a place where staff want to learn and grow.

Chief Responsibilities:

1. In charge of execution of daily operations at two restaurant locations, later to be three locations in late 2019.

2. Strong ability to recruit and train up other staff.

3. Skilled at the planning, development and implementation of SOPs that meet our operational standards. Is a champion of change and inspires others to embrace the evolution of a growing brand.

4. Easily handles performance issues and holds teams accountable in a constructive and timely manner

5. High level of P&L acumen and develops action plans to continuously raise the level of performance

6. Sets high standards in maintaining a clean, food safe and professional work environment while making it high energy and fun

7. Believes in and supports a culture of continuous improvement and continuous learning and actively works on self development

8. Skilled at developing and setting annual plans, initiative and budgets and successfully achieving them

9. Execute and assist in developing strategies for restaurant support functions such as marketing, training, recruiting

Qualifications：

1. 8+ years experience in a leadership role at multi outlet restaurant brand or experience managing a high foot traffic 120+ pax restaurant in Shanghai or Beijing.

2. Proven track record of successful P&L and operations management of at least USD 1.5 to 2.5 million

3. Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to assess talent and build effective teams

4. Role model with high ethical standards for self and others

5. Fluent english and excellent working Chinese

6. Expected to be hands on when needed and work a rotating schedule that includes late night hours and weekends

7. Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines

8. Ability to think analytically and perform tactically

9. Computer knowledge of Excel, Windows, Outlook

10. Travel Requirements: Expected to have high presence in designated restaurants (80% of time)
