Goal of this function

• Support the Procurement activities for the Songwon production sides in China

• Support the sourcing activities of the Songwon Group, in close collaboration with the Korean procurement organization

• Identifies and communicates supply opportunities and pricing trends in China

• Reports directly to Strategic Procurement & Sourcing Manager China

Responsibilities

• Raw materials Suppliers’ management for Qingdao Long Fortune Songwon Chemical Co. Ltd. Blending facilities.

• Support and manages monthly suppliers contract execution ( forecast, order placement, ETP/logistics, DPO/payment conditions, Inventory management) for SWI-CN (JV with QLF)

• Support Procurement related process ISO9000 & ISO14001 Internal & External Audit for Qingdao Long Fortune Songwon Chemical Co. Ltd.

• Supports procuring of raw material, packing material and 3rd party sourcing materials for Songwon Industrial Group

• Monitor EP situation in China; regular check for Songwon Group suppliers

• Supports procuring activities of Korea & India Procuring team in China

• Support to manages current suppliers base in China; organize and plan supplier audits with

• Support & manage new raw material screening for R&D Korea in collaboration with local service provider

Requirements:

• BS or higher degree in chemical Engineering & related.

• 3+ year experience in Purchasing & Sourcing area for chemical raw materials and/or chemical equipment.

• Familiar with Import & export procedure.

• Has the common knowledge of ISO9000, ISO14001.

• Experienced in ERP/ MRP system

• Excellent project management skills with strong communication skills.

• Highly qualified English skills.

• Strong analysis, problem-solving skills.

• Working experience in international companies,

o experienced in working within different cultures

• Be able to travel frequently within NEA and occasionally globally
