Job Summary

Co-work with R&D, Quality, Logistic team and suppliers to set up device manufacture ability, and provide sustained support to ensure smooth operation. Conduct parts localization and cost reduction activities.

Responsibilities

1.Set up device manufacturing ability, with support from R&D, Quality, Logistic team and other functions;

2.Obtain product knowledge from R&D, internal training material and other channels, and transfer the knowledge to production; Transfer drawing and product requirement to production support documentations, such as BOM and Working instructions;

3.Deep diver on root cause analysis for any technical problem raised by production team or from customer side, coordinate with related function teams to take effective corrective actions;

4.Set up production line layout according to TAKT time, set up cycle time for each station, and drive continuous improvement on efficiency;

5.Work up with Quality team to set up production quality requirement and define quality process and quality gates;

6.Drive parts localization, and provide technical support to suppliers; Work with suppliers and Supplier Quality Management team to ensure sustained high parts quality level;

7.Close work with RD to initial or follow up ECOs, drive excellent implementation to internal production or supplier;

8.Lead or support new project launch stage in parts localization, prototype building, process set up, technology transfer and etc. work with R&D team to resolve DFM issues to improve the design robustness.

9.Apply best practices into daily production management. A big fan of 6 sigma/Lean manufacturing, and apply lean manufacturing methodology to real world practice, constantly looking for improving opportunities.

Requirements

Education & Knowledge

1.Bachelor degree majored in mechanical or related.

2.Be familiar with mechanical design software, such as Solid works or Auto CAD is a plus;

3.Familiar with high mix industry equipment manufacturing

4.Very good understanding on manufacturing engineering, be familiar with FEMA, Quality Tools, DOE, BOM and etc.;

Experience

1.Minimum 3 years experience in equipment manufacturing industries；familiar with machining and sheet metal manufacturing process is a plus.

2.To be able to find problems and have strong capability in root cause analysis.

3.Be knowledgeable and practical in lean manufacturing and related tools.

4.Having project management/6Sigma would be a plus.

5.Good reporting and presentation skill

PC Software

Good at computer skill in utilizing MS Office.

SAP basic skill and familiar with Agile system.

Language

Good at spoken and written English communication skill.
