Manage all product develop sample requirements generated by order progressing. Responsible for carrying out on all incoming technical samples processing and advising on construction and technical improvement. Work with technicians in France and vendors to provide technical input and improvement in the areas of sewing, construction, fitting and grading.

Main tasks

§ Measure and fit all samples and record the measurement accurately including any deviation

§ Issue technician comments on DOC4 excel files on Counfit and Collection sample in the required timeline, and follow the order progressing priority created by the Merchandising Dept

§ Support pre-production control for PMA and key styles if required by conducting pre-production sample check on fit and workmanship

§ Seal collection sample and sign final measurement chart for production and final inspection

§ Data input in IT system – sample approval/rejection dates and comments if necessary

§ Carry out all duties and responsibilities in conjunction with Kiabi France technical team. To diligently interface and cooperate to ensure adherence to Kiabi norms and efficient and accurate transfer of information at all times.

§ Responsible for communication between Kiabi, production engineer and the suppliers/factories/vendors

PROFILE OF THE HOLDER

- Training and experience: - Diploma in Textile / Clothing; minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a Buying Office environment

• Strong technical knowledge in garment sewing, construction, fitting and grading

- Soft Skills: - Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Computer literate

• Good command of English

• Strong task oriented style

• Be flexible
