Job Content (general objective)

  • Supports all Supply Chain Business Intelligence (BI) analytics and reporting functions, providing insights and strategic recommendations to drive profitable growth as well as developing self-service reporting capabilities to allow business partners to quickly evaluate the health of their business
  • Ensures alignment of the of the cross-functional stakeholders, initiatives and priorities with the organizational strategies and goals
  • Design & implement analytics and reporting solutions to support and guide action in the business
  • Creates a link between sales and operations, reporting and analysis, and IT teams, as well as the internal functional objectives through leadership and analysis of business opportunities
  • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
  • Effectively lead and facilitate distributed cross functional Global / Regional / Plant teams of SME's to deliver Global, Regional / Plant projects
  • Explore new, innovative, and cutting-edge business intelligence analytics and reporting tools, methods and processes

Dimension of Responsibility (e.g. Number of Customers, Turnover, Budget Responsibility)

  • Support the Global Supply Chain team to achieve corporate objective in term of Service and Cash Flow through Inventory initiatives
  • Present results and facts to Senior Management (Regional & Global Directors, Vice Presidents) to support strategic decisions

Minimum Requirements

Professional Education:

University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Computer Science (or comparable studies) or equivalent level by experience

Professional Experience:

  • Experience working on large-scale or multi-faceted projects
  • Knowledge of methodologies for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and web analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of methodologies for Segmentation, Profiling, Significance Testing, Experimental Design

Additional Qualifications (e.g. Foreign Languages, PC skills, etc.):

  • “MS-Office” applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Etc.…).
  • Problem solver with excellent analytical skills and ability to turn data into information
  • Ability to operate independently and indirectly manage multiple teams and time sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the organization at all levels
  • Able to work cross functionally with both highly technical and analytic resources and those that have limited statistical and math training
  • APICS certification is a plus

This position requires minimal travel
